Job Summary For Human Resources

The Capacity Builder/Trainer is fulltime position directly responsible for increasing knowledge and skills of local health, Social Service and Education Staff, as well as community members-at-large, by developing and delieveringt approraite and relevant training oppurinities, health promotion and prevention activites/events; promoting,encouraging preparing workers to pursue formal accreditation;liason, cooperation and coordination with KOFN Health Directors and the Mental Health Therapist, supporting the local mental health teams as required, design assistance, production of materials for the required; design assistance, production of materials for and updating of Mahmindonechiigun Menoyawin Project website and e-learning platform; and other duties as required.

Accountability

The Capacity Builder/Trainer is directly responsible to the Keewaytinook Okimakanak Health Director.

Responibilities and Duties

1. developing and delivering appropriate and relevant training oppurunities for local workers. including:
   
   1. designing and implementing a training needs assessment of local workers which have mental health mandate;
   2. designing implementing, annual evaluation of, a four-year training strategy designed to meet the needs of local workers, to prepare them to pursue some form of formal accreditation, and include evaluation and review.
